How to Prepare

Exam Syllabus and Pattern

The selection process for the CISF Head Constable includes the following stages:

1.Physical Standard Test (PST) & Documentation

Height:

Male: 165 cm

Female: 155 cm


Chest:

Male: 77–82 cm (Minimum expansion 5 cm)

Female: Not applicable


Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards. 


2. Written Examination

Mode: OMR-based or Computer-based Test (CBT)

Duration: 2 hours

Total Marks: 100


Subjects:

General Intelligence: 25 questions

General Knowledge: 25 questions

Arithmetic: 25 questions

General English/Hindi: 25 questions


3. Skill Test

Typing Test:

English: Minimum 35 words per minute

Hindi: Minimum 30 words per minute


4. Medical Examination

Criteria: As per CISF medical standards

Tests: General physical and medical fitness assessment.
