The MCCQE Part I is a national examination administered by the Medical Council of Canada (MCC). It assesses the critical medical knowledge and clinical decision-making abilities of candidates at a level expected of a medical student completing their medical degree in Canada. Passing this examination is a requirement for international medical graduates (IMGs) applying for entry into a Canadian residency program and is also used by some Practice-Ready Assessment programs as an eligibility criterion.

Exam Pattern Overview
