Phase 1 – Preliminary Examination

Type: Objective (Multiple Choice)

Duration: 120 minutes

Total Marks: 200

Sections:

General Awareness – 80 marks

Quantitative Aptitude – 30 marks

English Language – 30 marks

Reasoning Ability – 60 marks


Important Notes:

Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

Sectional timing may be introduced depending on the year

Conducted for candidates shortlisted based on Phase 2 performance

Final selection: Phase 2 (300) + Interview (75) = 375 marks
