How to Prepare

Exam Syllabus

The selection process for the Deputy Manager position includes a written test followed by an interview. The written test comprises two parts:


Part A: General Aptitude (50 Questions)

Verbal Ability/General English

Quantitative Aptitude

Reasoning Ability


Part B: Technical Knowledge (70 Questions)

Electrical Erection: Electrical circuits, machines, power systems, control systems.

Mechanical Erection: Thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, manufacturing processes, heat transfer.

C&I Erection: Instrumentation systems, control systems, process control.

Civil Construction: Structural analysis, construction materials, surveying, building construction.

    Eligibility criteria

    Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil discipline with at least 60% marks.

    Experience: Minimum 6 years of post-qualification executive experience, with specific requirements for private and government/PSU sectors. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the nuclear island is mandatory for all disciplines.

    Maximum Age Limit: 33 years
