Test Structure

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU) for admission to MBA/PGDM programs offered by its 16 constituent institutes. The SNAP 2025 exam is scheduled to be held in December 2025, with three available test dates: December 8, 15, and 21. Candidates can choose to appear for one, two, or all three attempts; however, only the highest score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Graduates from a recognized/statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Final-year students are also eligible to apply. 

• Age Limit: No upper age limit specified.

• International Candidates: Must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

 Admission Process

1. SNAP Test: Appear for the SNAP exam on the chosen date(s).

2. Shortlisting: Based on SNAP scores, candidates are shortlisted for further rounds.

3. GE-PI-WAT: Shortlisted candidates must participate in Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI), and Writing Ability Test (WAT).

4. Final Merit List: The final selection is based on the composite score, which includes:

- SNAP Score (50%)

- GE-PI-WAT Performance (50%) 

How to Prepare

To prepare for the SNAP 2025 exam, focus on building a strong foundation in Quantitative, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and General English, and practice consistently with mock tests and previous year papers. Key preparation strategies include understanding the syllabus, practicing regularly to improve speed and accuracy, identifying and working on weak areas, and mastering time management to tackle the exam's time constraint of one minute per question. 

SNAP 2025 syllabus

General English: Covers grammar (error spotting, usage), vocabulary (synonyms, antonyms, idioms), sentence correction, and reading comprehension. 

Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: Focuses on arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and numbers, along with data interpretation questions from tables, graphs, and caselets. 

Analytical & Logical Reasoning: Includes a wide range of topics such as seating arrangements, blood relations, syllogisms, series, coding-decoding, and puzzles. 

Preparation strategy

Know the syllabus: Download the latest official syllabus and ensure you are familiar with all the important topics. 

Build a strong foundation: Master the fundamental concepts and formulas in each section, especially in quantitative aptitude topics like arithmetic and modern math. 

Practice consistently: Solve previous year's papers and take at least 15-20 full-length mock tests to build speed, accuracy, and familiarity with the exam pattern. 

Analyze mock tests: After each mock, analyze your performance to identify your strengths and weaknesses. Focus extra time on your weak areas and avoid starting new topics in the final weeks before the exam. 

Improve calculations: Practice mental calculations for percentages, fractions, and ratios to save time during the exam. 

Work on speed and accuracy: Prioritize accuracy over the number of questions attempted, as the exam is timed with approximately one minute per question. 

Read daily: Dedicate time each day to reading newspapers, editorials, or articles to improve vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills.
